From a dark, dank prison in Rome, Paul writes a letter to his young apprentice Timothy and exhorts him to treasure the sincere faith heritage given to him by his family and to fan the flame of the gifts God has placed in him. Paul also tells him not to be fearful or ashamed to testify about the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Dudley Rutherford encourages all of us to do the same. He reminds us that Satan tries to distract, divide, and discourage us, and that we need to protect and follow sound doctrine always.
