Many of us can relate to the feeling of being unpopular, and Zacchaeus the tax collector in Luke 19, knew this feeling well. Unable to make his way through the crowd, he had to climb a tree in order to see Jesus passing by. Pastor Terrell Fletcher teaches that since the crowd saw Jesus as a teacher, they were church people. They were so busy trying to be close to Jesus and receive from Jesus that they missed their mission field—Zacchaeus. Who are we shutting out? How can we make a better way for people to see Jesus?
