We were created to worship. It’s in our DNA. Pastor Dudley Rutherford opens up Exodus 20:3-6 and the Psalms to show us that God is a jealous God because He alone is worthy of our worship. In our sin, we have a tendency to worship and idolize people and things, but the Lord wants to be first in our lives. When we worship God, it purifies our hearts from sin, pride, and disobedience, and it helps us to maintain the right priorities.
