The Christmas season carries with it not only the culmination of God’s plan of salvation, but also the proclamation of the Savior of the world. We see in Luke 2:8-18 that three different entities proclaimed this Good News: an angel of the Lord, a company of heavenly hosts, and humble shepherds. These three heralds help us to remember, all year long, not to fear and that Jesus gives us peace from our past, peace in the present, and peace for the future. And it helps us to remember that the Gospel is for all people (God’s love does not discriminate), so we must also proclaim His love to everyone we meet!
