Jesus was forsaken just one week after the crowds praised Him on Palm Sunday. He was scourged and crucified though He was innocent and without sin. Pastor Dudley Rutherford teaches that as Jesus was nailed to an old rugged, Roman cross between two criminals, it was love that held Him there. Jesus is our Savior. He offers hope to the hopeless, and invites those who have rebelled against Him to redemption and repentance.
